In the early 19th century in Kuchuk-Lambat Bay shores were built the estates of princes Gagarins-Borozdins and Raevskis. There were outstanding writer Griboyedov and the great artist Aivazovski, whose footprints still keep the old parks Kuchuk-Lambat and Karasan.
