Among the most beautiful places of Southern Coast Livadia enjoys a wide popularity.
In the 1830s the lands of Livadia belonged to the Pototskis. At that period two buildings were built here, as well as the church and subsidiary structures.
In 1860 the estate was bought for the Tsar's family.
From April 1910 till September 1911, 2.500 workers constructed the Great White Palace designed by I.Krasnov consisting of over 1200 rooms not counting corridors, passages and small rooms.
In February 1945, the Conference of the Heads of the Governments of Great Britain, the USA and the USSR that determined the future of the post war world, was held in the White Palace. After this event Livadia became famous all over the world.
